They knew the summit would be crowded, so decided to have lunch on the way up and stopped just long enough on the top to take pictures. Then they carried along the ridge to Swirl How and Prison Band. It

was such a beautiful day that from Levers Water they could see the climbers on Little How Crags where John and Roger climbed Sunshine Aręte and Black Moss Crack before moving on to Great How Crags and the Original Route. Back at the Cottage, the walkers had a well-deserved brew and all agreed they’d had a very good day.
